Gresham storms to 12th-place finish in Thunder in the Mountain at Rome
Mario Gresham made the short trip to Rome Speedway (Rome, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon to compete with the Crate Racin’ USA series for the Thunder in the Mountain.
Following a seventh-place performance in in his heat race, Gresham crossed the line in eighth in his B-Main, forcing him to use a provisional into the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Nearly reeling in a top-10 run, Mario passed 14 cars in the 50-lap affair to register a 12th-place finish.
Mario is currently sixth in the latest Crate Racin' USA point standings.
