Gresham climbs to eighth in Early Bird 50 at Needmore
On Friday evening, Mario Gresham kicked off the 12th-annual Early Bird 50 weekend at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) with Crate Racin' USA.
With qualifying and heat races slated for Friday, Gresham dealt with engine problems throughout the night and recorded a 10th-place finish in his heat race.
Following an engine swap overnight, Mario charged forward from his 23rd-place starting spot to finish inside Top-10 in eighth.
