Mario Gresham kicks off 2025 season at Volusia Speedway Park
Breaking out a brand-new look that honors his father, Mario Gresham rolled into Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternooon to compete in both 604 and 602 Late Models divisions for the Sunshine Nationals.
With over 70 Crate Racin' USA entries on the property, Gresham finished 11th in the semi-feature before starting 22nd in Saturday's $10,000-to-win finale where he would charge through the field to land a Top-10 finish in seventh.
After finishing sixth in his 602 semi-feature, Mario started fourth in Saturday's 20-lap main event and drove to a runner-up finish behind Bubba Roling. Gresham was disqualified after he pulled up light at the scales.
