Gresham follows HTF Series to Kentucky; 12th-place outing with Hell Tour at Clarksville Speedway
Making the long haul to the Bluegrass State on Friday afternoon, Mario Gresham unloaded his No. 21 machine at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) to kick off a doubleheader with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
Gresham started 19th in the $10,000-to-win weekend opener and drove to a 16th-place finish in the 50-lapper. Taking an emergency provisional for Saturday's show at Florence Speedway (Walton, Ky.), Mario drove forward to an 18th-place outing.
Making the last minute decision to head to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway on Sunday night, Mario joined a 33-car field for the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour show where he transferred through his heat race and landed a 12th-place finish in the $5,000-to-win feature.
