Gresham grabs two Top-10 finishes with Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series at Talladega
With the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series in town, Mario Gresham made the short trip to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for NASCAR weekend and competed in both the Super Late Model and 604 Late Model divisions.
Gresham locked himself into the $5,038-to-win opener after recording the third-quickest lap in his qualifying group. Mario started fifth in the 40-lap feature and wound up seventh. The following night with $10,097 on the line, Mario started 14th in the A-Main and stormed into the Top-10 for an eighth-place finish.
Gresham finished 16th on Friday and 13th on Saturday in Crate Late Model competition.
